The Creative Player Coaching Vision is based on the philosophy that soccer is more than a game it is an "ART!". Soccer, unlike many sports, allows for a high degree of spontaneous movement and technical creativity. Therefore, the goal of the Creative Player Coaching Vision is to teach young aspiring players the technical skills and insight needed to play the world's most popular sport in exciting attractive fashion. To do so is to ensure each player's future enjoyment and success in making their own creative contribution to the sport which is commonly called the "beautiful game!"
The goal of the Creative Player Coaching Vision is to teach young aspiring soccer players the technical skills and insight needed to play the world’s most popular sport in an exciting attractive fashion.
The Creative Player SKILLS curriculum accelerates each players development within the game.
The Creative Player “SKILLS” curriculum contains six essentials areas for the development of young players.
SKILLFUL FOOTWORK: Exercises that create a feel for the ball using every part of the foot in all directions. These exercises are foundational to ball control and must be mastered in order to gain the right mechanical advantage.
KILLER MOVES: Exercises that instill creative dribbling technique over a distance and the development of 1 v 1 moves. These foundational moves provide the basis for beating opponents and creating scoring chances.
INSTINCTIVE PASSING & RECEIVING: Exercises that foster passing and receiving instincts through mastering basic and complex combinations. These exercises are trained in small groups and motivate players to move off the ball.
LETHAL SHOOTING: Exercises that create the thrill of scoring goals with speed and deadly accuracy from different angles and directions. Players are challenged to develop the instep drive with both the right and left foot.
LIGHTNING SPEED: Exercises that foster an explosive first step, soccer speed, and acceleration. Emphasis is placed on developing sound running mechanics in relationship to arm action, leg action, and body posture.
STRATEGIC GAMES: Exercises that introduce players to the basic forms of the game, moving from the simple to more complex. Emphasis is placed on applying technical skills to game situations and acquiring tactical insight.
